The Tao Garden Health Resort, about thirty minutes outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand, is an internationally renowned Healing Resort where an individual or groups can go and experience a wide variety of holistic healing methodologies. It was founded by Taoist meditation and Qi Gong Master Mantak Chia, who has over thirty years of experience in healing, meditation and martial arts.

The Tao Garden Health Resort is not only a place where students can go to learn Taoist traditions (the secret of rejuvenation and longevity), but it is also a holistic health resort. Hidden among banana groves, papaya trees, and organic rice fields, the Tao Garden Health Resort is the perfect place to get away from the city and other modern annoyances. It is a place where guests can pick and choose from a wide selection of disciplines ranging from Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Acupuncture, Thai Massage, Herbal Steambath, Sauna, Colema (cleansing of large intestine), Chi Nei Tsang Massage, Tao Yin, Meditation and many others; and investigate how these techniques can improve their daily lives. Many guests come simply to take advantage of the giant swimming pool, herbal steam bath, sauna, weight room, tennis courts, basketball, and other facilities, or just to walk through the lush gardens with flowers from all over the world in bloom year round.

Almost all of the food served at the Tao Garden Health Resort is grown organically on the premises and handled without chemicals, preservatives, or long-term storage. The water served is filtered and purified through reverse osmosis and is more fit to drink than popular bottled water. Tours are given intermittently for guests to learn more about how the center exists harmoniously in the jungle environment of Thailand.

According to Chinese and Taoist medicine food is a very important key for our health. In Tao Garden we take a unique special care to the kitchen and you will discover it is possible to enjoy unforgettable delicious dishes while eating healthy! All the food served at the Quan Yin Dining hall is fresh, tasty and organically grown with no unnatural coloring or flavoring. It caters also vegan foods at every meal as Taoism has a completely neutral stance towards vegetarianism, neither advocating it nor condemning the eating of meat. We recommend to ask our Spa personnel to provide you a personal nutrition consultation to enable you to select the food that best suits your needs.

1. Star Rooms
Twenty four twin bed rooms constructed within a two-story building. The rooms are built around a landscaped inner courtyard. All rooms have en-suite toilets and showers. A room with a balcony is available upon request.

2 Star Rooms
A newly constructed two-story building with 24 spacious twin bed rooms, which surround a landscaped inner courtyard. Semi - deluxe rooms have more modern features and all have ensuite toilets and showers.

3 Star Rooms (Townhouse)
One of three large guestrooms in a town house with private bath and balcony. Each townhouse also contains an open living room with unique dëcor. Most guestroooms have two single beds and some have double beds, please specify your requirements.
